In the first workshop of the programme, we will focus on relation and ensemble work. From the common ground of collaborative, partnership and ensemble techniques, we will question ourselves as performers and human beings in relation with our partners.
How can we balance the theatrical relation with our partner? How do we avoid imposing ourselves on each other while protecting our personal research path? How can the relation with our work partner provoke and enrich our process?
The specific focus of this session will be on the key word ‘dialogue’. Through the different tools of theatre practice, we will try to open this question and explore the possibilities connected to sharing the work and research space with somebody else, starting a journey together. How can it enrich us? Where are my boundaries in relation to my partners? Do I accept the difference?

The following technical elements will be developed in the workshop:
•    group dynamics/ensemble work
•    physical and spatial awareness
•    action/reaction
•    protagonist/chorus relation
•    listening and relation
•    elements of acrobatics and mutuality exercises
